In 2010 I made a series of votive boats for the Christmas season. They were about 14 inces long, and made a nice centre piece on the table.
Another use for them is serving sushi, or any finger food. I may make them again for Christmas, if I get the time.
For awhile the theme of boats began to emerge in my sculptural work. Generally they had something in them, like the birds and fish in these photos. I haven't made boats in awhile, but they were a lot of fun, so I wanted to include them on the website.
