Vases

Each year I explore the art of making vases. It has allowed me to expand into a new landscape of shapes.

The black vases to the right were inspired by women's gowns, and a handbag influenced some of the forms below.

Vases have also allowed for an exploration in glazing. Different colour combinations have emerged, such as the turquoise and bronze vessels. Exploring and testing glazes is an ongoing event and it's exciting to make new discoveries.
